Should I Make Monetary Restitution For The Offence Committed?

You should make monetary restitution for the offence that you committed. This will be considered as a positive factor during the sentencing process.
In certain offences, it is appropriate to make monetary restitution. Such offences include situations when property has been damaged, or where the victim has been injured and therefore has incurred medical fees.
Your offer to make monetary restitution should be made early in the process. It should not be made at the last minute just before the judge is about to set out the sentence that you are to be punished with. Put another way, the offer to make monetary restitution should be a genuine and sincere offer.
